What is tinnitus?
Answer: Tinnitus is the unexplained sound of noise or ringing in your ears. The sounds can be very light up to a very disturbing roar. People have described every kind of sound from buzzing to clicking. The most common cause is exposure to loud noises at some time in your life. This healthy formula stimulates the body’s homeopathic ability to alleviate these symptoms.
What is Ring Relief®?
Answer: Ring Relief® is a product line by The Relief Products, including a homeopathic ear drop, as well as a Fast Dissolving Tablet. They both have a number of active ingredients indicated to alleviate unexplained sounds in the ears and discomfort.
How does Ring Relief® work?
Answer: Ring Relief® works via the traditional homeopathic mode of action, which is that they utilize small amounts (known as micro-dilutions) of ingredients which would cause in a large dose – ringing, buzzing, clicking or other unexplained and irritating noises. These ingredients, in a micro-dilution, gently stimulate the immune system to respond and eliminate the symptoms.
What adverse reactions or possible complications are there?
Answer: Homeopathic remedies have a 200 year history of having no known adverse reactions or complications. They are safe for infants, children, and adults. However, if you have tubes in your ears or other ear drum perforations, you cannot use the drops.
How long should I use the product before getting relief?
Answer: Every individual is different, and since the homeopathic active ingredients are stimulating the bodies’ response, results will vary from person to person. While it will not work for everyone (not even Aspirin does), we do have a 70% rate of positive results. It can take up to 60 days to work.
Should I see a doctor?
Answer: Homeopathic remedies are all natural, have no side effects, and have a 200 year history of positive results. However, we recommend checking with your doctor. Tinnitus may be a symptom of other conditions which should be ruled out, so you should see an ear specialist to rule out a serious condition.
I started using your product, and now my hearing is worse. Now what?*
Answer: In homeopathy, there is a phenomenon known as healing aggravation. Healing aggravation is where an initial worsening of symptoms occur. This is actually a good sign, as it means the active ingredients in the product have interacted with your body. Our recommendation when healing aggravation occurs is to stop using the product for several days, or until you feel better. Once your symptoms have returned to their normal level, continue use of the product.
* NOTE: If using the drops, customers sometimes complain of wax/clogging in their ears. Ring Relief® actually has an ingredient to help loosen built up wax. It sounds like you may have had some wax buildup, the Ring Relief® started to loosen the wax, and in the process it touched your eardrum. That is been part of the process of wax removal. It is only temporary.
Is it okay to use the Ring Relief® Drops with a hearing aid?
Answer: You should ask your ear doctor or hearing aid specialist if a glycerin-based drop would cause any problems. Our guess is that a glycerin-based drop would likely interfere with the devices. Our Ring Relief® Fast Dissolving Tablet is ideal for people using hearing aids.
I don’t have an eardrum. Should I still use Ring Relief®? Will it help?
Answer: No – if you do not have an eardrum, if you have a hole or tear, or have had a procedure on your ears in the past, you should not use Ring Relief® Drops. Our Ring Relief® Fast Dissolving Tablet™ is ideal for this purpose.
When I use the drops, it takes a very long time for even one drop to go down into the ear canal. Is that normal? If I am supposed to be using 3-5 drops twice a day, it just won’t happen. It takes too long to even get one to stay.
Answer: By applying three to five drops all at once, you will find they will go down into the ear canal very nicely. We recommend applying the recommended amount of drops all at once, rather than one-at-a-time.
How do I use the drops?
Answer: The active ingredients in Ring Relief are homeopathic and work instantaneously. To trigger the healing response you only need to let the solution thoroughly enter the ear canal. The active ingredients are in a glycerin base which breaks up ear wax. Be careful to never insert any object which can harm the ear drum. Do not place the tip of the applicator directly into your ear canal. We recommend using the drops twice a day, and the Fast Dissolving Tablets three times per day.
Can I use Ring Relief® while taking blood pressure medication?
Answer: Because our products are all natural and homeopathic, there are no side effects or contradictions with other medications. You can be assured that it is safe to use.
I accidentally put the Ear Drops into my eye. What should I do?
Answer: First off, you’re going to be fine. It might be uncomfortable for a time, but it will pass. We recommend rinsing your eyes thoroughly, and any burning, irritation, or discomfort you’re experiencing will decrease. Consult your doctor if it does not get better, or if it gets worse.
Will Ring Relief® help someone suffering from Meniere’s disease?
Answer: While Ring Relief® is not indicated for Meniere’s Disease, it does have ingredients which may help many of the symptoms. Meniere’s shares many of the symptoms of tinnitus. Because there are many idiosyncrasies associated with Meniere’s Disease, including the disease’s origin, it is unfortunately not possible to predict if it would help your particular symptoms.
Does Ring Relief® contain any ingredients derived from animals?
Answer: No, it does not. Our products feature only minerals and herbs.
Is your product allergen-free, specifically, gluten and dairy free?
Answer: The product is gluten free. It does have a small amount of Lactose in the inactive ingredients, but only a trace amount that helps keep the tablet together. It should be perfectly fine for lactose-intolerance.
